The Women's Spirituality Group examines the feminine divine, feminist theology, and goddess culture. We will be studying Cakes for the Queen of Heaven which is a woman-honoring UU curriculum by Rev. Dr. Shirley Ranck that explores the relationship between women's religious history and the personal issues that arise in women living in this patriarchal society. We will examine pre-Judeo Christian cultures that likely worshiped the female as divine. All who are women-aligned are invited to attend. Childcare may be available if enough women request it.
No book is required for this group. Materials will be provided.
